Bombay High Court Eligibility Criteria 2023
Stenographer (Grade-3)
- Candidates must hold a degree from any recognized university, and those with a degree in law will be given preference.
- Adequate knowledge of the regional language of the Court in the District.
- Successful completion of the Government Commercial Certificate Examination or an examination conducted by a Government Board, or possession of a Government Certificate in Computer Typing Basic Course (GCCTBC or I.T.I.) is required for achieving the specified typing speed.
- 100 w.p.m. or above in English Shorthand and 80 w.p.m. or above in Marathi Shorthand and
- 40 w.p.m. or above in English Typing and 30 w.p.m. or above in Marathi Typing.
- Hold a computer certificate demonstrating proficiency in operating word processors in Windows and Linux, along with M.S. Office, M.S. Word, Wordstar-7, and Open Office Org. The certificate should be obtained from one of the following institutes:

- Certificate regarding Qualification of computer knowledge issued by the Government of Maharashtra or Goa, as the case may be.
Junior Clerk
- Candidates must hold a degree from any recognized university, with a preference for those possessing a degree in law.
- Adequate knowledge of the regional language of the Court in the District.
To meet the speed requirements, candidates must either pass the Government Commercial Certificate Examination or an examination conducted by a Government Board, or hold a Government Certificate in Computer Typing Basic Course (GCC-TBC or I.T.I.).
40 w.p.m. or above in English Typing and 30 w.p.m. or above in Marathi Typing.
