The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 Exam. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications online from 03 November 2023 to 27 November 2023. CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)Â Eligibility with Code
Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and should have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms is another acceptable qualification.
An alternative qualification is Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Candidates may also qualify with Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Another eligible qualification is achieving at least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduates with a minimum of 45% marks and passing or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE Norms are also eligible.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) is an acceptable qualification.
An alternative qualification is Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
Graduates with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) are also eligible.
Any candidate who has qualified in a B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Additionally, individuals pursuing teacher education courses specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 are also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, and passing or appearing in the final year of the three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., is another eligible qualification.

Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE Are Released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET Paper I to V & VI to VIII 2023 . Candidate Can Apply Online 03/11/2023 to 01/12/2023.
Note: This year the exam centers are limited in every city, the information of which will be seen live by the candidate while filling the form. All the candidates who want their nearest exam center / city should apply as soon as possible because the slots of the exam city are limited.
