Eligibility Criteria for HP High Court Recruitment 2024
Judgment Writer/ Personal Assistant (Class-II) (Mode e)
Graduation, coupled with a track record of eight (8) years in positions such as Stenographer, Judgment Writer, Junior Scale Stenographer, or Steno Typist, is essential. This experience should be acquired in any well-regarded organization, including government departments or agencies.
A minimum speed of 110 words per minute (W.P.M.) in English Stenography is mandatory for candidates. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate accurate transcription within a timeframe equivalent to five times the duration allotted for dictation. Additionally, candidates should possess a typing speed of 55 W.P.M. in English on computers, and a separate test will be conducted to assess this skill.
Stenographer (Class-III) (Mode d) :
Graduation is a prerequisite, and candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Steno-typist, Judgement Writer, or Stenographer in any government office or well-established organization.
A speed of 100 W.P.M. in English Stenography is mandatory for candidates, along with accurate transcription within a period of five times the time allotted for dictation. Furthermore, candidates need a typing speed of 50 W.P.M. in English on computers, and a separate test will be conducted accordingly.
Junior Scale Stenographer (Class-III) (Mode b) :
A Graduation qualification is required, along with a three-year experience as a Steno-Typist, Junior Scale Stenographer, or in a higher position in either a Government or reputed private organization.
For qualification, candidates need to have a proficiency of 90 words per minute in English Stenography, ensuring accurate transcription within a time frame five times the duration allotted for dictation. Furthermore, candidates should showcase a typing speed of 45 words per minute in English on computers, and a separate test will be organized for this requirement.
Assistant Librarian (Class-III) (Mode c):
The educational requirement for candidates is a Master’s Degree in Library Science. Alternatively, candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and having at least three years of experience as Library Attendant or in a higher position are eligible.
For individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, a prerequisite is three years of experience. However, candidates possessing a Master’s Degree in Library Science are exempt from the need for any prior experience.
