Income Tax Department Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Inspector of Income Tax
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or an equivalent examination successfully completed from an accredited University.
Tax Assistant
- Bachelor’s Degree of recognized University or equivalent.
- The requirement is to possess a data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour with a specified cut-off error percentage in the data entry speed test, as outlined in the notification.
Stenographer Gr. II
- Successful completion of the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- Candidates should hold a stenography certificate from a recognized institution, demonstrating a speed of 50 words per minute in English or 65 words per minute in Hindi.
- Dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 80 w.p.m.
- The material must be transcribed on a computer, with a transcription time of 65 minutes for Hindi and 50 minutes for English.
