NICL AO Eligibility Criteria 2024
Doctors (MBBS) :
M.B.B.S/ M.D./ M.S. or PG – Medical Degree from a recognized University OR
Foreign degrees recognized as equivalent and approved by the National Medical Commission (formerly named the Medical Council of India) according to the prescribed benchmark.
Additionally, the candidate is required to possess a valid registration from the National Medical Commission (formerly known as the Medical Council of India) or any relevant State Medical Council (for Allopathy) as of the scheduled interview date.
Legal :
The candidate must possess a Law degree from a recognized University, either at the Graduate or Post Graduate level, with a minimum of 60% marks in the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ ST candidates).
Finance :
Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/ Cost Accountant (ICWA)Â OR
A recognized University must confer upon the candidate a B.Com or M.Com degree, with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST candidates).
Actuarial :
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or any other quantitative discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ ST candidates).
Information Technology :
Candidates must possess a B.E, B.Tech, M.E, or M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ ST candidates).
Automobile Engineering :
Candidates should possess a B.E, B.Tech, M.E, or M.Tech degree in Automobile Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ ST candidates).
Generalist Officers :
Candidates must have a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ ST candidates).
Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officers :
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, with 60% marks (for SC/ ST 55% marks). OR
Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, with 60% marks (for SC/ ST 55% marks). OR
The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, with 60% marks (for SC/ ST 55% marks). OR
The candidate must have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level, with 60% marks (for SC/ ST 55% marks).  OR
