OPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria 2024
A candidate must:-
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant subject, allied subject, or concerned field from an Indian University. An equivalent degree from a Foreign University is also acceptable.
For candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and PWD categories, the stipulation of obtaining at least 55% marks is relaxed, and they are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade.
Eligibility requires candidates to have successfully cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) intended for the appointment of Assistant Professor (Stage-I) or attained a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University or a Foreign University.
