OSSC CTSRE Eligibility Criteria 2023
Junior Mining Officer
The candidate should hold a Diploma Certificate in Mining Engineering with at least a Second Class distinction from any recognized Polytechnic or institution in India. Alternatively, any other certificate deemed equivalent to a Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic, course, or board will also be considered.
Junior MVI
Candidates should possess a 3-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they must hold a valid driving license for both motorcycles and transport vehicles and have knowledge in computer applications.
Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
Candidates are required to have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized institute. However, individuals with higher qualifications such as a Degree, B.Tech, or BE are also eligible to apply, as long as they possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute and must be a computer literate. OR
The minimum qualification required is a Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an institute recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.
Tracer
For eligibility, candidates must have Matriculation with NTC/NAC and a two-year training background in Civil Draughtsmanship, along with proficiency in Computer Application and AutoCAD.
Laboratory Assistant
Mechanical Engineering : Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University approved by SCT & VT.
Chemical Engineering/ B.Sc Chemistry : Possession of a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University approved by SCT & VT, or a B.Sc degree in Chemistry from a recognized University, is required for eligibility.
Laboratory Attendant
Fitter Trade : NTC in Fitter Trade.
Turner Trade : NTC in Turner Trade.
Electrician Trade : NTC in Electrician Trade.
Note :
- The ability to read, write, and speak Odia fluently is a prerequisite.
- The candidate must have cleared the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject.
- Successful completion of the HSC Examination or an equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects is required.
- The candidate must have cleared Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a school or educational institute recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government.
- Successful completion of a test in Odia at the Middle English School standard, conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha, is required.
