RPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria 2024
Post Sl. No. 1 to 4 :
Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, if a grading system is used) in a relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or possess an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
Meeting the qualifications mentioned above is essential, and candidates should also have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the U.G.C. or an equivalent examination accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET.
Those who have obtained a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, or the revised version in 2016, along with any subsequent amendments, are excused from the obligation to fulfill the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for the purpose of recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor.
Proficiency in written Hindi using the Devnagri Script and familiarity with the culture of Rajasthan is required.Candidates should hold an Acharya Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a grading system, if applicable) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or possess an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university to meet the qualification criteria.

Candidates should hold an Acharya Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a grading system, if applicable) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or possess an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university to meet the qualification criteria.
Meeting the qualifications stated above is necessary, and candidates should also have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the concerned subject conducted by the U.G.C. or an equivalent examination recognized by the UGC, such as SLET/SET.
Those individuals who have acquired a Ph.D. degree following the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, or the updated version in 2016, along with any subsequent amendments, shall be excused from the necessity of meeting the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor.
