Eligibility Criteria for Technician Positions
Technician Gr I (Signal): To apply, candidates need a degree in Science with a focus on Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation. Alternatively, a B.Sc. in any combination of these subjects or a BE/B.Tech degree is acceptable. A 3-year engineering diploma in the relevant fields is also valid.
Technician Gr III: This category includes various trades such as Blacksmith, Bridge, Carriage and Wagon, Crane Driver, Diesel Electrical, Diesel Mechanical, Electrical, TRS, EMU, Fitter, Permanent Way, Refrigeration and AC, Riveter, S&T, Track Machine, Turner, and Welder.
- For S&T Trade: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics or have a Class 10 certificate with an ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT.
