Eligibility Criteria For SAIL Recruitment 2023
Operator- cum- Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3)
A full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Power Plant, Production, or Instrumentation Engineering from a government-recognized institute is required for candidates who have completed Matriculation.
First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.
Candidates should have passed Matriculation and hold a 3-year (full-time) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government-recognized institute.
Individuals must have a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency to be eligible for work in mines. This certificate should specifically cover mining installations and be issued under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 29 of the Central Electricity Authority (measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulations, 2010.
Candidates should have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the execution of repairs, overhauls, and maintenance for HT/LT Systems/Installations, HT/LT Machinery, equipment, and devices situated inside and outside plants and buildings. This experience encompasses overhead and underground transmission lines, cables, transformers, circuit breakers, panels, switchboards, and related equipment.

Attendant- cum- Technician (Trainee)
Successful completion of Matriculation, along with a full-time ITI qualification in the relevant trade such as Electrician, Fitter, Electronics, Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Computer Operator & Programme Assistant (CoPA), or Information Technology (IT), from a government-recognized institute, is required.
