- There is no age limit.
Assam SLET Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates eligible for this test must hold a Master’s Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks for General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates. For SC, ST, PWD Category, and OBC candidates belonging to the non-creamy layer, a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) from universities or institutions recognized by the UGC is required.
- Individuals who have either already appeared or are scheduled to appear in the final qualifying examination for their Master’s degree, and are awaiting results, as well as those whose qualifying examination has been subject to delays, are eligible to apply for this Test.
- Individuals with a Ph.D. degree, whose Master’s level examination was concluded by September 19, 1991 (regardless of the result declaration date), are entitled to a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks, allowing them to appear in the SET with a revised eligibility criterion of 50% instead of 55%.
