WB Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational Qualification : A prerequisite for application is the successful clearance of the Madhyamik Examination, either administered by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent qualifying examination.
Language :
Fluency in Bengali, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking skills, is a prerequisite for candidates, with the exception of individuals domiciled in the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts, who are exempted from this mandate.
Candidates from the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts shall adhere to the regulations stipulated in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Ben. Act XXIV of 1961).
